What is a Buyers Agent?

A Buyer’s Agent is a licensed real estate professional who represents the interests of property buyers in real estate transactions. Unlike traditional real estate agents who primarily work for sellers, a Buyer’s Agent works exclusively for the buyer, helping them navigate the property market, identify suitable properties, negotiate offers, and coordinate the purchase process. Buyer’s Agents provide valuable expertise, market knowledge, and advocacy to help buyers make informed decisions and secure the best possible deal on their desired property.

Why do I need a Buyers Agent?

You need a Buyer’s Agent for several reasons:

  1. Expertise: Buyer’s Agents have extensive knowledge of the local real estate market, including property values, neighborhoods, and market trends. They can provide valuable insights to help you make informed decisions.
  2. Representation: A Buyer’s Agent works exclusively for you, representing your interests throughout the buying process. They negotiate on your behalf to secure the best possible deal and ensure your needs are met.
  3. Time-saving: Searching for a property can be time-consuming and overwhelming. A Buyer’s Agent can streamline the process by identifying suitable properties, scheduling viewings, and handling paperwork, saving you time and stress.
  4. Access to off-market properties: Buyer’s Agents often have access to properties that are not publicly listed, giving you access to a wider range of options.
  5. Negotiation skills: Buyer’s Agents are skilled negotiators who can help you secure the best price and terms for your property purchase.
  6. Overall, working with a Buyer’s Agent can help you navigate the complexities of the real estate market and make your property buying experience smoother and more successful.
How is a Buyers Agent different to a Real Estate Agent?

While both are licenced real estate professionals they are different. A Buyers Agent represents the buyer’s interests exclusively, helping them find and purchase properties that meet their needs. They provide personalised guidance and advocacy throughout the buying process. In contrast, a Real Estate Agent typically represents the seller and focuses on selling properties. Buyers Agents prioritise the buyer’s interests, while Real Estate Agents prioritize the seller’s interests.

Are you able to help arrange financing, tax advice, solicitor, and building pest inspectors?

Are you licensed?

Yes, one must be a licenced real estate agent to operate as a buyer’s agent.

How long will it take to find me a property?

We usually find our clients a property well within 3 months. It could be as fast as few weeks or it could take as long as 6 months.

Do I need my finance pre-approved before I engage BuyerBliss?

You don’t need pre-approved finance when you engage us but it will be the first thing you would have to do before we start your property search. You can use your own mortgage broker or we can recommend one.

If I opt to find properties on my own, are you able to assess and negotiate on my behalf once I've identified a property?

Yes, if you choose to search for properties independently, we can still evaluate and negotiate on your behalf once you’ve found a property that interests you. This is covered by our Negotiation Only package.
